History:
No wide receiver in league history have started more games then Roy
Williams. In his 5 seasons in Detroit and 5 with the Chiefs he recorded a
league second most 12336yds. Considering that the players throwing him the
ball in those years was Harrington, Anes, a very young Meeber and finally
Ken Dorsey in Kansas City those numbers is nothing short of spectacular.
Its therefore no surprise is the player in league history to have
generated most yards on his own after catching the ball. The 2863 career
yards he got after catching the ball is 3.2yds extra every time he catches
a ball. In 2006 he a whooping 42.5 TPct and in eight of the 10 seasons he
had over 80 catches. His best season is still 2013 when he had a career
high 1607yds catching with 12 TDs and finally helped the Chiefs making it
to the playoffs. |
History:
Another member of the Big-3 is Anquan Bolding. Nobody got more receiving
yards or receiving TDs in the NAFL then the 54th overall pick in the 2003
draft. Regardless of playing without a real quarterback in the first three
years he had very good numbers from day-one. When Carson Palmer arrived he
became a deadly weapon. Six times in the leagues first 10 years he have
finished the season with 1250yds or more. If you want to knock him it must
be that he have only won a single All-League 1st team award. The year he
won his All-League award he finished with 98 catches for 1551yds and 13
TDs (all personal record). If his receiving numbers is not impressive
enough take a quick look at his stats as a kick returner. That adds
another 4200yds to his career stats. Playing his entire career in Arizona
he of cause got a Super Bowl ring and will have a shot at the League
Legend awards when he decide to retire and he will absolutely be in the
run for a place in the HoF. |
